Chee Hung Goon is Chief Executive Officer, Asia at GrowthOps, and leads the company’s operations across Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
A digital marketing industry veteran with experience across telco, FMCG, finance, automotive, and tech brands, Goon started his career at Leo Burnett before joining MOL.com.
In 2003, Goon co-founded one of Malaysia’s first pure digital agencies. On the strength of this venture, he was recruited to build the digital offering for multinational agency networks Publicis and McCann/MRM in Malaysia, and as OgilvyOne Business Director in Vietnam.
Goon was Malaysia CEO for Asia Pacific Digital when GrowthOps acquired the company in 2018. Under his leadership, the business developed into a star performer, serving major clients and earning a string of awards for marketing effectiveness and innovation.
Some of the brands Goon has worked with include, Unilever, Kimberley Clark, CGV Cinemas, Maxis (telco), Nestlé, SCA, Intel, Citibank, PETRONAS, Cisco, Parkson, LG, Samsung, BMW, Proton, Loreal, Coke, and Cadbury.
Goon holds a Management Science BSc from the University of Warwick, UK.
