But they were restless on their laurels.
GrowthOps Executive Director Phillip Kingston lit the spark. As a tech investor with a global remit, he could see that conventional consulting and agency models were failing large organisations, leaving them vulnerable. They needed a new kind of partner: an entrepreneurial execution specialist, focused on opportunity and growth. One that was aligned with their interests and accountable for results.
GrowthOps’ founders responded with a category-busting business model. Highly integrated, it fused expertise from diverse disciplines to provide joined up strategy and execution along the growth value chain. Agile, it was flat, lean and employee owned. It deployed small, high performing teams applying quick cycle, iterative test-learn-scale methods. Customer-aligned, it offered outcome-based, skin-in-the-game engagement models.
As model met market, it was quickly evident there was growing demand for growth services. In just 12 months GrowthOps has delivered a string of major projects for leading brands, increased its footprint to 9 campus locations across APAC, and made several new acquisitions, adding specialist capability in data science, growth marketing, and cloud platforms.
